Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy explains how Attention Holdings Ltd (company number 16391315), trading as Limmi (“we”, “our”, or “us”), collects and uses information when you use the Limmi app (the “App”) and the Limmi device. Limmi helps individuals and families set shared rules based on location or context. The App can be used by adults for themselves or for managing family devices.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. What we collect
We collect what is needed to provide the App, operate core features, keep the service reliable, and support your account.
1.1 Account information
What you provide when creating or managing your account: an email address, a password, and any optional profile details.
1.2 Device and technical information
Device type, operating system, app version, and diagnostic information needed for performance, troubleshooting and compatibility.
1.3 Location information
If you enable location-based features, the App uses location signals — such as proximity to your Limmi device — to apply the rules you configure.
Most location processing happens on the device itself, and we do not keep continuous location history. We store the locations and identifiers you configure so your settings work across your devices.
1.4 Settings and configuration
The rules, schedules, zones and preferences you set up, so they apply consistently on every device connected to your account.
1.5 Usage information
General activity summaries — such as time spent in categories, or when rules were active — used to show you insights and to check the App is working correctly.
We do not collect the contents of your apps, messages, photos or browsing activity.
1.6 Communications
What you send us when you get in touch, such as a support request.
2. How we use it
We use the information above to:
- provide the App and its features
- apply the rules and locations you configure
- sync your settings across your devices
- show activity summaries and insights
- maintain, secure and improve the App
- develop new features
- contact you about your account or the service
- meet legal requirements
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use information collected in the App to target advertising. Advertising measurement on this website is a separate matter and is described in section 7.
3. What we store
To deliver the service, our servers hold:
- your account information
- your rules, preferences and defined locations
- aggregated or summarised usage information needed to display activity
- device and technical data
- support communications
We do not store ongoing or continuous GPS location history.
4. Sharing
We share information only in these situations:
Service providers
Companies that support our operations, such as cloud infrastructure, payment processing and support tools. They may use information only to perform those services for us.
Legal compliance
Where we must comply with a legal obligation or protect the safety of users.
Aggregated or de-identified information
Information that cannot reasonably identify an individual, used to improve the App or understand general usage patterns.
We do not share precise location or usage information with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Families and children
Limmi can be used by adults for themselves, or to manage family devices.
Children cannot create accounts.
Information relating to a supervised device is used only to provide the features enabled by the account holder.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information. No system is entirely secure, but we work to protect data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse.
7. This website
Sections 1 to 6 describe the App and the device. This section covers limmiapp.com, which is separate.
The website sets nothing optional until you accept the cookie banner. If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited, and the Meta Pixel to measure whether visits that began from an advert went on to a sign-up or purchase. If you reject, neither is initialised.
Full detail of what is stored, for how long, and how to change your mind is in the Cookie Policy.
8. Your rights
If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to request access to your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we process it, and receive a copy of it.
Email info@limmiapp.com to exercise any of these. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
